Second Life revisited
Jun 22 2007, 10:20 AM EDT
A colleague just gave me a copy of the 6/22/07 New York Times, which has a story about the MacArthur Foundation becoming active in Second Life. The story talks about Randal Moss, the person I have invited to present at AFP, and notes that the American Cancer Society raised $5,000 with a Second Life Relay for Life in 2005, and has raised $82,000 this year, even though the walk has yet to take place. According to the article, more than 30 nonprofits have opened offices in a virtual business incubator called the Nonprofit Commons.
